WEISS DAC202 AND CLOCKING

WEISS DAC202 AND CLOCKING

Configuring the Weiss DAC202 Options

This tutorial outlines how to set up your Weiss DAC202 for operation with an external clocking device, such as the Antelope Isochrone Trinity (with or without the 10M). The Weiss DAC202 can accept a clocking signal via the BNC connector labeled “SYNC IN.”

To configure the Weiss DAC202 to accept and synchronize to the external clocking signal, follow these steps:

  • From the home screen, push the volume knob and scroll to the Options Menus (Photos A and B)
  • Once in the Options Menu, scroll down to the Sync Source and select WC BNC as the source (Photos C, D and E)
  • Once WC BNC has been selected, press the volume knob to escape, scroll up to Exit and press the volume knob again to Exit (Photo F)
  • Now you will be back at the home screen (Photos G and H)
  • Now, if you change the sample rate on your external clocking device, the sample rate will automatically change on the Weiss DAC202 (Photo I)
